Steps to submit an iPhone warranty

Welcome to our Authorized Apple Service, and thank you so much for letting us work for you and helping you with your equipment warranty. 

  • Your equipment will be inspected by our technicians. This inspection will verify that there are no damages such as liquid spills and replacement of non-original parts. (Physical damage will be verified)

  • ​

  • The tests required by Apple will be carried out, which will diagnose the equipment problem. These tests will take between 30 to 45 minutes.

  • The hardware product is warranted against defects in materials and workmanship, when used normally in accordance with Apple's guidelines, for a period of one (1) year from the date of original purchase.  

  • You will be asked preliminary questions designed to help diagnose possible problems.

  • Before you deliver your equipment to us, you must tell us if the equipment has or may have come into contact with liquid. You did maintain a separate backup of the content on your storage media. Delete any personal information you want to protect and turn off all security passwords ( Turn off iCloud ).

  • ​

  • After warranty service, your equipment will be returned to you as your Apple equipment was configured when originally purchased, subject to any applicable upgrades.  We are not responsible for any loss of software programs

  • ​

  • As part of the warranty service, Apple may install system software updates. You will be responsible for reinstalling all other software, data and information. Recovery and reinstallation of other software programs, data and information are not covered by this warranty.  

  • When processing a cell phone guarantee, the approximate time it takes for the equipment to arrive is approximately 4 to 10 days, everything will depend on not having any situation in the claim of the same, some exception or isolated case.

What does this warranty not cover?

  • This warranty does not apply to software.

  • ​

  • This warranty does not apply to parts that are designed to wear out over time, unless the failure is due to a defect in materials or workmanship.

  • Superficial damage, scratches, dents, broken plastics in the ports, fire, contact with liquid or other causes.  

  • Damage caused by use with a third party component or product.  

  • Damage caused by anyone other than an Apple representative or Apple Authorized Service Provider.  

  • A product that has been modified to alter functionality or capability without Apple's written permission.

  • Defects caused by normal wear or attributable to the effect of time on the product.  

  • If any serial number on the equipment has been removed or defaced.

  • If Apple is informed by appropriate public authorities that the equipment has been stolen or if you are unable to disable the passcode or other security measures designed to prevent unauthorized access to the Apple equipment and you have no means of proving that you are the authorized user equipment (for example, by providing proof of purchase).  

  • If the equipment is found with humidity sensors marked in red, Mac Line Inc. will invoice you $10.00 USD since the equipment would be out of warranty and the customer has to assume this charge.

Other alternatives

In case of not covering the guarantee for some of the reasons detailed above:
​

  • We can work your equipment without warranty since we repair Apple equipment. A deposit of $35.00 USD is required which includes diagnosis and quote which can be applied to the invoice (non-refundable).

  • If you need the help of one of our technicians in making a backup of your data (backup), deactivating iCloud or configuring the equipment, Mac Line Inc. will invoice the amount of $45.00 USD for these services.  

  • Mac Line Inc. can offer you a reused cell phone for the days of the guarantee process for a cost of $45.00 USD .
